Dear Friends of Angola,
Welcome to the official page of the Embassy of the Republic of Angola in Hungary, which also provides diplomatic coverage for Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Republic of North Macedonia.
Allow me to share some data on relations between Angola and Hungary, which were formally established on December 23, 1975. These relations have always been characterized by genuine bonds of friendship, mutual respect, and stable bilateral cooperation, which is today structured by several Agreements.
Since assuming the head of this mission in June 2025, I have witnessed the consolidation and deepening of the objectives underlying the above, particularly regarding the genuine interest in cooperation, diversification, and expansion of economic, political, and cultural development areas. The excellent institutional relations between Angola and Hungary are visible, especially in the field of Staff Training at universities of excellence.
In Hungary, I found a well-integrated Angolan community. In this context, one of the main objectives of this mandate will be to jointly develop programs aimed at ensuring harmony, brotherhood, and unity for all, without ever forgetting our origins or our commitment to our beloved Homeland. Permanent support for our citizens in universities, culture, tourism, business, and many other areas is a given fact.
I hope that our Diplomatic Mission's Portal serves as a useful information tool about Angola while reiterating the full availability and support of this Institution's services to all those who may need them.
